Located near the picturesque mouth of the Barwon Heads river with the Barwon Heads bluff as a scenic back drop. The wave is ideal for beginners and offers some of the longest rides available in the region with the sand bar extending outwards and providing gentle and long breaking waves. The venue is only a short walk across the pedestrian bridge to Barwon Heads with great coffee, food and coastal shopping, the perfect way to relax after an enjoyable surf.
The Bridge Beach Car Park is often protected from stronger winds and its surf can range from gentle beginner waves to intermediate peaks. RAAFs can also provide an ideal location for intermediate to advanced Stand Up Paddle Boarders.
How to get to the Bridge Car Park.
Bridge Beach Car Park is Located on the eastern side of Barwon Heads – across the Barwon River.
The car park is on the Barwon Heads Ocean Grove Road, near the Barwon Heads Bridge.
Make sure to enter the beach side car park and not the river car park.
