LONGBOARD NATIONAL TITLES SUCCESS

State Longboard Team members recently traveled to Port Macquarie for the Australian Titles and experienced some great success.  A big congratulations goes out to young gun Cole Rush for surfing all the way through to the Semi Final in the hotly contested Open Men’s Division.  From all accounts Cole was surfing with great commitment and was rewarded for completing some big high risk turns.
Sapphire Main surfed her way to the semi finals in the Junior Woman’s.  Sapphire’s surfing has progressed considerably as a result of her focus and dedication and this result is a great indication of her current form.  Also congratulations to Sam Suendermann for her 5th place finish in the Junior Girls and both Heather Peck and Kate Sullivan for their 5th and 7th place finishes in the Womans 35+ division.  Other stand out result from the Vic State Team were Greg Brown taking out the over 45 Mens and Emma Web taking out the first Woman’s Stand Up Paddle Australian Title…..
