Surf Sessions Matt Lumley wins Mambo Stand Up Paddle Board Title

Surf Sessions Senior Coach Matt Lumley, has taken out first place at the Mambo Merimbula Classic in what was regarded as the largest and most talented field of stand up paddle boarders ever assembled in Australian waters. The result is great recognition of Matt’s talent and commitment to the fast growing sport of Stand Up Paddle Boarding.

Having a long history in longboarding, Matt added Stand Up Paddle Boarding to his repertoire just two years ago and is now regarded as one of Australia’s leading paddle boarders.

“The Mambo Title has been a goal of mine for a while and the expression session format of the event really suited my surfing. I have been working extensively on my fitness over the last year and putting plenty of water time in and at the end of day it made the difference”
