Surf Sessions Cam Lamperd assists Martin Dunn and the Victorian Junior Team

Martin Dunn, Australia’s leading surf coach traveled to Victoria to assist the Victorian Junior team in their preparations and was assisted by Surf Session coach Cam Lamperd and Victorian Head Coach Ross Slaven. Dunn has been the coach behind many WCT surfers as well as ISA, National and State Champions. Over two extensive 8 hour training sessions the Victorian Junior Surfers were provided a wealth of information and put through their surfing paces.

The weekend focused on surfers preparation techniques including beach and surf analysis, heat strategies and finally substantial video analysis of the individual surfers to assist in their surfing performances.

Congratulations to the team for making the most of the opportunity provided and for later surfing so well in the National Titles. Stand out surfers of the Victorian Team were Nikki Van Dijk and Mitch Baker.

The next Victorian Team will be decided from the 3 Victorian Junior State rounds commencing at the end of January 2010.
